Very good review of the challenges of traveling with your gear. I have been lucky, so far, as I do most of my traveling in EU and back to US. Carry drone and camera in a LowePro ProTactic BP 350 AW. It small enough to get under seat or in overhead. So far have not had any problems with carriers or security. Suspect would not always be the case in other countries though.
