Based on the reporting he seems isolated and could easily make that fatal move. Europeans are worried more than Americans. Because it’s happing in their backyard. So far US has made smart measures moves. So I guess we will see.

Also can’t say about the military. Do know that watching the reports that military commanders don’t seem totally bought in. Especially the Air Force. They are holding back. Afraid of Ukrainian air defense…or protecting their assets from a cause they don’t believe in? Hard to say.
