I was the photographer for the collage news paper. Everything black and white which I developed myself. I would make money on the side taking photos of student couples. Sold the prints for $5 a copy.

Later I worked for my mother, who covered steeplechasing in the south. Those photos, when printed in the weekly racing paper, went for $10. A photo of the winning horse with trainer owner and jockey was $20 per copy. Was a fun part time gig.


But all that changed when I joined the United States Marine Corps.

Retired how. Just now turning back to photography. But not sure what to do with it. Still waiting for that vision.
