I am 70. Still run 3 mi three times a week. and do strength training. Do the one leg stand from time to time. Typically one minute per side three alternating sets. Right leg missing an ACL from high-school football injury so it’s a bit wobblier than the left.

I think stand exercise is more of an indicator than something that builds strength.
