Been there. I worked in Poland for last six years where I met my wife. We both sold our homes in SC and have bought a town house in Spain. But Spain is a long way from kids in CA. We looked at homes anywhere on west coast and decided it’s a no go due to astronomical prices. So house budget goes to travel budget. Luckily Spain has good health care so that part not a problem. Yet the grandkids are growing up fast…..
