Are talking about editing photo for Medium article?

If so I would say no…and I would recommend using Adobe Photo Shop, iPhoto or some other photo editor to crop and size your photos ( I use Adobe Photo Shop Express or iPhotos on my iPad ).

In any case if you use the Canva to produce an image with those parameters, as you indicated, you’re going to end up with low quality image (less than 2 MB). The photos I uploaded to Medium for this article ranged from 18 MB to 30 MB in size.
